This is the Official Website of Mr. Serzh Sargsyan ­ Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and a candidate for the Presidential elections to be held in Armenia in February 2008.
Serzh Sargsyan is a prominent Armenian statesman who served in various capacities in the Armenian Government since 1993 when he first became minister of defense. Serzh Sargsyan became Prime Minister in spring 2007 and after his Republican Party won the majority of seats in Parliamentary elections of May 2007 he was re-appointed.
Serzh Sargsyan has a great role in liberation of Nagorno-Karabakh when he served as the head of Armenian liberation forces of Nagorno-Karabakh in the armed conflict with Azerbaijan in 1988-1994.
This website is designed to provide up-to-date and comprehensive information on Serzh Sargsyan's political platform, campaign meetings, and current activities in his capacity as a presidential candidate. Its purpose is to present Mr. Sargsyan's vision of the Armenia he will relentlessly work to build if he wins the confidence and votes of Armenian citizens.

OPENING A BRANCH OFFICE IN TBILISI, GEORGIA.

SOUND STORE US is opening its representation in Georgia. The official opening event will take place on March first 2008. The new branch office is located on 13 Kekelidze, in one of the fastest growing residential areas within Tbilisi. The president of the branch office is a talented and skilled woman Maka Gogochyuri.
We feel this is a unique opportunity for our company to create a hybrid production that will take advantage of Georgia's talent pool and combine with our own special writing, directing and talent in the United States. Our hope is to bring about a new and exciting time in Georgian music market.
We feel very fortunate to be working in Tbilisi at this time. The city has so much energy, excitement and history and we want to share that with our friends and associates working in the US industry.


ARMENIAN MUSIC CENTER IN MIDEM.

Armenian Music Center begins the year with exhibiting in MIDEM 2008 (The World Music Market) where delegates from the recording, publishing, live, digital, mobile and branding sectors will gather in Cannes to do deals, network, learn and check out new talent. Armenian Music Center is very glad to present its products and services to the world music professionals and to do business with them.
We hope that our presence in MIDEM 2008 will contribute greatly the development of music culture of Armenia.

AMC signed up in Sonicbids website and presented there one of it’s most talented and famous folk singers-Hamlet Gevorgyan.
Presenting there our folk artist we had no idea that Armenian folk will be interesting for anyone. To our great surprise in several days Hamlet Gevorgyan’s EPK became the top viewed EPK in www.sonicbids.com and we have received letters of admiration and praise towards Hamlet Gevorgyan's art of singing and his talent.


AZNAVOUR: "THE PATRIARCH OF FRENCH SONGS"

The much anticipated concert day for thousands of Aznavour fans in Paris has finally arrived on October 19, 2007. Several months before the festive night with Aznavour, thousands of fans from France, and hundreds more from the United States, Russia, even far away Japan and other countries were already flocking the websites and the box office of the theatre to secure their place under the Sun, Aznavour’s sun. It was under thunderous and uninterrupted applauds by nearly 4,000 fans that the legendary Armenian-French singer Aznavour made his triumphant entry onto the stage of the Grand Amphitheatre at the world-famous Palais Des Congres in Paris France. On November 2007 Abide Web Technologies LLC has taken the responsibility of designing the official website of one of the most famous Lightening Companies "PR Kvadrat" which engages in lighting designing, electro technical designing, all kinds of electro installation works etc. The site is very original in its style. Company PR Project is based in 2000. Despite of young age, the company has entered in ten of the lead Russian lighting companies. We hope that this website will serve its purpose and wish the company success in the upcoming projects.

AWARDS REACHED TO THEIR OWNER.

Kodak Theater hosted Armenian artists, singers and composers on December 22, 2006. The occasion was AMVA (The Annual Music Video Awards)organized by Armenian Music Center & Meridian Studios, that had gathered all those Armenians together in one Hall. That day according to the people's votes Andre was recognized as the best singer of the year, received Varduhi Vardanyan Award which gave Andre the title of "The Best Armenian International Singer 2006" and the third award was given to the hit music video, which have shined at the Eurovision Song Contest, "Without Your Love". The music video had been in the M Club Top Ten Music Videos for over a year. Due to tradition, the awards are kept in the museum of Armenian Music Center's Head office for 10 months, after which they are send to their owners. Today the awards were handed to Andre in the Armenian Branch of Armenian Music Center, Located on 16/1 Vardanants. Andre was very pleased and happy to receive the prizes and feel the real power of his fans. Armenian Music Center & Meridian Studios in their turn congratulate Andre and wish new greater achievements in his musical career.


AMC-AN OBSERVER MEMBER OF IAMIC

Armenian Music Center received an official invitation from IAMIC (International Association of Music Information Centres) to become a member. At present the company is an observer member of IAMIC waiting for the "General Assembly June 2008” where member countries will vote for Armenian Music Center's membership.
IAMIC - The International Association of Music Information Centres is a world-wide network of organizations that document and promote the music of our time. IAMIC currently supports the work of 43 member organizations in 38 countries (2006). Each of these Music Information Centres promotes and documents the music of its own country of region over a variety of musical genres including contemporary classical music, world music, jazz and popular. AMC will take part in the Network Informal Meeting of IAMIC. Nice, January 25, 2008.


ELVINA MAKARYAN HAS PASSED AWAY.

Today on July 10 at 10:00 has passed away talented and charming singer-songwriter Elvina Makaryan. The cause for the death of the great artist was the fatal heart attack. Today we mourn the loss of this renowned seductive singer and a good friend of ours. Her brilliant voice and unique talent made everybody admire her. Her memory will always be bright in our hearts and the sweet tunes of her voice will always sound in our ears. We hope that the souls of a son and mother have come together in the haven…


UPCOMING GREAT PROJECT!

Alexan Yeramyan-the director of "AYO" production and the author of a great project. Since 1993 Alexan has got acquainted with the representatives of Armenian Show Business and find a unique talent in each of them. Very soon Alexan decided to form such a project in which Armenian singers will sing the French authors' compositions and will come up with concerts in Armenia, Paris, Los Angeles. In spring "AYO" production together with SHARM Company is planning to give the first concert in Yerevan. In the concert will take part Seda Andznavour, Sushan Petrosyan, Nune Yesayan, Syuzan Margaryan, Aramo, Emma Petrosyan, Forsh, Michael Poghosyan, Arsen Grigoryan, Arsen Safaryan, Janna Eghiazaryan, Hayko, Andre, Zaruni Babaian, Arthur Ispiryan, Tigran Petrosyan, Sirusho and Avo Khalatyan. All songs are very impressive and are chosen with great enthusiasm. Arrangement by Armen Martirosyan, performance by Arthur Grigoryan. It is considered as historical event.


THE FIRST EUROPEAN MEDAL OF PYUNIC.

Disabled people and their friends have as much right to enjoy singles socializing as the next person. In this perfection-obsessed world, some disabled people need this club.
On June 11 passed the 8th Open IPC Powerlifting European Championships 2007 at Kalamitsa Sports Complex, Kavala, Greece. It promotes the Paralympics movement and offers incentives to people with a disability and encourages especially young people to get actively involved in sports and athletic activities...
In this competition Armenia represented twenty one year old girl Greta Khndzstsyan (friends call her Lala). Lifting 60 kg she acquired the 2nd place. Lala is from the Armenian Association for the Disabled "Pyunic".
The earthquake in 1988 took from Lala not only her two legs but also her parents. Her grandparents brought her up. From the early age joining "Pyunic" Sport Rehabilitation Centre she was able not only to train up but also passed a deep psychological rehabilitation. Lala is a multiprofiled sportsman. She took participated in Winter Paralympics held in Torino, Italy and was among the first ten winners. In 2004-2005 took part in LA City Marathon, wheel-chair division and took the third place among 300 participants.
Lala shared her impressions with AMC when she was a guest at our office. "People there, especially Armenians were very friendly and hospitable, they were very kind and warm, and the Armenian flag waving in their hands encouraged me greatly and made the excitement present at the beginning vanish."
Lala lives in very bad conditions in a small home, in a family 13 members. In this bad domestic surroundings Lala managed to train with the help "Pyunic".

Just several days ago famous and charming singer Ani Christy appeared in show business with several surprising and original projects.
Armenian Music Center and Ani Christy Production have prepared a special surprise for Ani Christy's amateurs. They presented Ani Christy's first CD album entitled "Three dots". The CD design was very original with not less original and beautiful packaging. The first aroma album with exclusive quality and mastering made in USA.
On May 18, 2007 at 10:00 took place the presentation of Ani Christy's first album "Three Dots" on 7 Amiryan "Armenian Music Center" where all her fans came to congratulate and contact with her. At 20:00 the presentation went on at "Astral Club" with her friends and colleges. Here they enjoyed and admired her music and were the witnesses of a number of surprises. First was the opening of her official web site: anichristy.com which was designed by Abide Web Technologies LLC, where everyone can read and be informed about the singer and her art of music. Moreover, Ani Christy's online shop is available on www.amc.am where you can download her songs and music videos as well as to order her debut album.
Second was the premier of her new music video based on the song "Ov em Yes" (Who I am) (remix). The music video was very original and unique. It was in disco style. Another boom prepared again by Armenian Music Center and Ani Christy Production was the shirts, chocolates and bags with Ani Christy logo. The project was in original style, in black and white colors as the singer herself is very original.


THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF SHUSHI'S LIBERATION.

On May 9 is a real holiday and great event, as 15 years ago Shushi was liberated! Since November, 1991 the Azeri armed units, situated in Shushi, used their superiority of the town’s geographical situation and subjected NKR’s capital Stepanakert and the adjoining Armenian villages to systematic artillery and rocket shelling. As a result of the shelling, hundreds of Stepanakert citizens were killed and wounded, the industrial enterprises and administrative buildings, as well as the town’s infrastructure were destroyed, 19.000 people were left homeless. Proceeding from the existing situation, on May 8 the Armenian forces of self-defense began an operation on annihilating the fire points and military bases, situated in Shushi and its suburbs. After great torments and suffers, on May 9, 1992 Shushi had been liberated. Thanks to its natural conditions, the plateau had the following strategically significant features in the past: it was surrounded by forbidding rocks from the three sides, and from the north side - by a smooth slope leading to the valleys.

"AbideWeb Technologies" LLC & AMC Mourn the Loss of Andranik Margaryan.

All the staff of "AbideWeb Technologies" LLC & Armenian Music Center on behalf of its presidents Samvel and Sargis Amiraghyans expresses its deepest sympathies to the family of the Prime Minister and to the Government. We mourn the loss of Andranik Margaryan. We bid farewell to our Prime Minister. We thank the Almighty for Andranik Margaryan's life, and we ask for God's blessings on Andranik Margaryan and his family. Andranik Margarayan was born and reared in the Armenian heartland. He belonged to a generation that measured men by their honesty and their courage. In Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, the world saw the best of Armenia--and Armenian found a man whose character and leadership would bring calm and healing to one of the most divisive moments in our nation's history. Andranik Margaryan showed his character in the devotion to his family. We will always cherish his memory.
